Grand Opus Interiors ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use grandopusinteriors.com or contact us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and guidance from the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

What we collect

  • Enquiry details. When you fill in our contact form, message us on WhatsApp or email us, we receive your name, phone number, email address, project location, budget range and anything you tell us about your project.
  • Job applications. If you apply for a role, we receive your CV, portfolio link, contact details and the information in your cover note.
  • Shop orders. If you order through WhatsApp, we receive your name, phone number, delivery address and order details.
  • Website usage. With your consent, analytics and advertising cookies record how you use our site, such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location. See our Cookie Policy.
  • Project information. During a project we may take photos and measurements of your space. We only publish project photos with your permission.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, prepare proposals and deliver your project (contract, or steps you asked for before a contract).
  • To process shop orders and arrange delivery (contract).
  • To assess job applications (legitimate interest, and steps before a contract).
  • To understand and improve our website and marketing (consent, through cookies).
  • To keep business records and meet legal, tax and accounting duties (legal obligation).

We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only where needed: with contractors, artisans and suppliers working on your project; with delivery partners for shop orders; with our website host and email provider; and, if you accept cookies, with analytics and advertising partners such as Google and Meta. Some of these providers may process data outside Nigeria. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards permitted under the NDPA.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don’t become projects: up to 24 months.
  • Client and project records: up to 6 years after the project ends, for tax and warranty purposes.
  • Job applications: up to 12 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

Under the NDPA you can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, withdraw consent at any time and receive a copy in a portable format. To make a request, email info@grandopusinteriors.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited staff access. No system is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information such as bank details through our forms.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
