Where it started
The owners came to us while the house was still bare block and open roof trusses. They wanted a home that felt calm and generous, with good light at night and storage that hides the clutter of family life.
Rooms were already fixed by the structure, and the staircase sat in the middle of the plan. We needed to turn the stair into a feature rather than an obstacle, and bring warmth to spaces that would otherwise read as plain white boxes.

Seen in 3D first
Every surface, light and piece of furniture was modelled and approved before anything was bought or built. These are the renders the family signed off.
Decisions with a reason
- Outside, stone cladding, slim vertical lighting and warm downlights give the façade depth after dark.
- Inside, we designed cove lighting into every ceiling so rooms glow softly instead of relying on one bright bulb. Timber slats and panelled media walls add texture in the living areas.
- The staircase gets lit timber treads and a laser-cut metal balustrade, so the view from the entrance lands on something considered.
- In the kitchen, handleless cabinets, a glazed display unit and under-cabinet lighting keep the room practical and quiet. Our 3D visualizations let the family approve every room before a single fitting was bought.
