Where it started
Smipay took an entire floor with nothing in it but columns, windows and a tiled slab. They needed a reception, private offices, a boardroom, a training space and desks for a growing team, delivered in one programme.
A wide, deep floor with exposed columns and strong daylight from three sides. The plan had to create privacy for managers without blocking light from the open-plan team.
Decisions with a reason
- We began with a space plan that put the reception and the brand wall at the lift core, private offices along the window line, and shared desks in the bright middle of the floor.
- Offices are enclosed in frosted-band glass partitions, so light travels through while screens and conversations stay private.
- Vertical timber fins run through the reception and meeting areas. They bring warmth to a very white shell and give the Smipay logo a textured backdrop.
- Workstations, executive desks and the white marble-effect reception counter were specified together so every finish belongs to the same family. We managed installation from delivery to the final signage.

Partitions, ceilings, joinery and finishes: we manage the trades on site so the build matches the design.
