Designing a reception that reflects your brand
Your reception is the first handshake with every client. How we design corporate receptions in Ibadan that feel welcoming, work hard and tell your brand story.

A visitor forms an opinion of your business in the first few seconds after they walk through the door. The reception is where that happens. It is also one of the smallest spaces we design, so every detail counts.
Start with the view from the door
We always design the wall a visitor sees first. On Project Oxygen the lift opens onto a stone-effect feature wall with the illuminated station logo, framed by dark fluted panels and lit shelving. The brand reads from the doorway.
Make the desk the centrepiece
A reception desk is furniture, signage and workstation in one. We design desks to measure, matching your brand colours and materials while hiding cables, storage and equipment. Oxygen’s desk curves in natural timber slats with a warm LED line; The Knowledge Hub chose a calm marble-effect finish with a bronze strip.
Give people somewhere good to wait
Guests should never feel like they are standing in a corridor. A small lounge with comfortable seating, a side table and good light turns waiting into part of the experience.
Use your brand colour with restraint
Strong brand colours work best as accents. Oxygen’s blue appears on the desk return and in the logo, while the rest of the room stays in warm stone and timber. The result feels confident rather than loud.
Design for everyone
Receptions should be comfortable for all visitors, including wheelchair users. A lower section of counter at seated height, clear routes and good lighting are simple to include at design stage. See our accessible reception concept.
